You can pay your rent by bank transfer.
Rent payments must be made by 12pm on the last day of the month.
We would recommend setting up a monthly standing order to avoid late payment fees.
The specifics vary by property, but generally, rent includes water, gas or electricity, WiFi, weekly cleaning of the communal areas included . Check the property listing or contact us for more information.
Our standard minimum lease term is 6 - 12 months, but we do offer flexible lease options for certain properties. Contact us for more information.
Our goal is to create a diverse mix of nationalities in each flat. The majority of Room Station residents are young professionals or undergraduate and postgraduate students, usually aged between 20 and 35. Based on past experiences, we anticipate that most of our residents will come from Europe and Asia, and other parts of the world.
Viewings can be held at your preference and convenience. We offer virtual viewings and also in person viewings.
We would always recommend in person viewings as you can get a better feel of location and the property.
Viewings can be arranged flexibly at a time which suits you.
To secure a room you will need to provide the following documents: ID, Bank Statement, Proof of Employment or Student Confirmation & Right to Rent in UK.
This will enable the vetting process and once this has been completed and all checks are done, we will provide the payment details to you.
You will need to provide an advance rent payment to secure the room. This amount will contribute to your final months rent payment.
There is a weekly cleaning service provided for all communal areas which is included with your rent.
Residents are expected to do their best to keep their own rooms and any communal areas in good condition.
Most residents create a cleaning rota amongst themselves to maintain a good standard.
If you would like your room to be cleaned, there is an additional fee. Please contact one of our agents for further information.
As we only provide shared accommodation, we unfortunately cannot accept pets or children.
Once your move-in date has been confirmed an agent will meet you at the property to hand over the keys to the property and your room.
The agent will also show you to your room and around the property once more.
Upon moving out, you must return all keys e.g room key, keys to the property, any window keys and any fobs for external building to one of our agents.
Please lock your room and the property upon leaving.
We operate remotely, however, this does not mean that one of our agents can’t come to you should you require any support or assistance.
If you are locked out of the property, we would recommend contacting your flat mates first. If that is unsuccessful and it is during office hours then please contact us.
If this is out of office hours, you will need to call the out of hours emergency line and there will be an additional call out charge as a locksmith will need to be sent.
If you lose your keys, please contact us. You will need to pay an additional cost to replace these.
